Juliette Levin

Juliette S. Levin was born in East New York, Brooklyn at a time when she could walk a few blocks to a nearby dairy farm and watch the cows over the fence. Growing up in the “pink houses,” she was surrounded by immigrants and people of all backgrounds and religions, including
her mother, who was born and raised in Paris. She spent her college years divided between SUNY Binghamton, and St. Louis University. In her third year of college, she took a summer job with NYPIRG, a grassroots public interest group, which raised the public’s awareness of environmental issues. This coincided with a time in the 1970s when sweeping environmental legislation was being enacted by Congress in response to the exposure of corporate polluters. Inspired by this work, Ms. Levin attended the University of Denver, College of Law and upon graduation returned to New York where she has had a career in varied areas of law as criminal defense, real estate, and trusts and estates.

Most recently she completed her LLM Degree in Environmental Law at Pace University’s Elisabeth Haub School of Law and is transitioning into the practice of Environmental Law.
